Workshop on ‘Steam Turbine & Auxiliaries –Design, Performance and Maintenance Aspects’
Programme Overview
and Objective
Centre for Power Efficiency & Environmental Protection (CenPEEP) has been acting as resource centre for acquisition, demonstration and dissemination of state-of-the-art advanced technologies and practices for leading Power Utilities towards performance optimization of Power Plants. In the past, CenPEEP has conducted various activities in Turbine and Auxiliaries area at NTPC & SEB Stations to optimize plant performance and diagnose equipment degradation. In the present scenario lot of improvements have taken place in the Turbine and Auxiliaries design, requiring up-gradation in maintenance practices and techniques, so as to derive the expected benefits. To achieve these goals and further improve the skills a workshop on “Steam Turbine & Auxiliaries-Design, Performance and Maintenance Aspects” has been planned by CenPEEP in association with NTPC - Power Management Institute (PMI) at PMI, NTPC, Noida.
Upon taking part in the workshop the participants will be able to analyze performance aspects of Steam Turbine & Auxiliaries, adopt best O&M Practices for Steam Turbines and apply new techniques for efficiency gap analysis for improvements.
