| Event Title |
Workshop on Numerical Relays in MV/LT Systems |
Programme Overview
and Objective |
To ensure reliability and safety of a Power Station, protective relaying forms a vital part. Proper understanding of various protection schemes, their functions, settings etc will be useful for both Maintenance Engineers and Operation Engineers. This workshop aims to give insight into the practical aspects and O&M issues of the New Communicable Numerical Protection Relays/IEDs installed in MV and LV Switchgears. The program also provides a forum for dissemination of recent developments in new tools and techniques for Aux Power Supply System Protections through case studies and interaction with established vendors/manufacturers.
At the end of the programme, the participants shall be able to state the role of numerical relays in protection of switchgear and analyze the issues related to its operation & maintenance. |
