Programme Overview
and Objective
As operating norms and environmental standards become more and more stringent, power station chemistry assumes far greater significance. This programme will bring in focus all critical issues related to power station chemistry. This programme will also provide experience sharing platform for the participants.

At the end of this programme, the participant shall be able to:

  • Conceptualize the water treatment process for boiler water
  • Describe method of chemical analysis of water, oil, gas, coal etc
  • Assess the effects of corrosion in power generation
  • Plan the actions at workplace, based on insight gained from experience sharing and visit
