Event Title Electrical Drives HT/LT Motor Maintenance
Programme Overview
and Objective
Availability of HT motors are the key strength for the full load availability of the station. Failure of HT motor may lead to reduction in availability of the unit. This workshop will provide platform to the participants to share the practices of different power station to manage motor failures, diagnostic maintenance practices adapted. This workshop will also cover the problems faced by different stations in the VFD drives.

At the end of the programme, the participants shall be able to-

  • Define the working of VFD drives
  • Describe the failure mode of HT/LT motors.
  • Analyse the failure modes
  • Analyse the problems related with VFD drives.
  • Help in analyzing and solving the problems at their work places.
