Event Title Erection & Commissioning of Electrical Equipment in Power Plant
Programme Overview
and Objective
Government of India has set ambitious targets for setting up new power plants in the current as well as in the next 5 year plan. To keep pace with the on time completion of upcoming power plants, this becomes very much necessary to complete the erection and commissioning of electrical equipments successfully. Erection and commissioning of Generator and switchyard equipments is the most vital in this category. Erection and commissioning procedures of Generator, switchyard equipments, large transformers and motors will be discussed in this programme.

At the end of the programme, the participants shall be able to-

  • Define the methods to be adopted for electrical equipments erection.
  • Analyse the issues in the electrical equipment erection.
