| Event Title |
Root Cause Analysis of Electrical Equipment Failures |
Programme Overview
and Objective |
Availability of Electrical machines and devices plays a vital role in determining the reliability and sustainability of generation from power stations. Often the health of equipment impacts on the overall stability of the connected power system. Each failure of equipment provides wealth of information, which if collected and processed properly can provide invaluable learning’s to be used to prevent such failures. This programme will help concerned Electrical Maintenance Engineers in increasing awareness and have an understanding about the strategies required for improving reliability of elect. equipments. This programme will serve to expose the engineers to the tools used and testing and diagnostic procedures relied upon for conducting the root causes of failures.
At the end of the programme, the participants shall be able to analyze the various causes of electrical equipments failures and formulate a strategy for improving reliability. |
