Event Title Workshop on C&I Problems Faced in NTPC Power Plants
Programme Overview
and Objective
This workshop on C&I problems of all the NTPC stations provides a common platform for discussing the problems faced in the C&I area and solutions for the same. Recommendations of the previous meet and status of compliance of the same shall be discussed.
This opportunity shall be utilized to take a stock of situation on the status of targeted objective of achieving ‘Zero forced outage due to C&I by design’ and formulate an action plan for mid course correction, if any. This issue shall be deliberated in detail. Initiatives taken and to be taken for adoption of “new technologies” for future projects by Engineering shall be presented.

At the end of programme, the participants shall able to-

  • Identify the constraints for zero force outage
  • State the zero force outage processes
  • Describe the functioning of zero force outage management
  • Analyze the impact of  C&I zero force outage on plant availability

  • Grounding and shielding philosophies in NTPC stations.
